Team Leader and Listing Specialist
Melissa became a licensed REALTOR® in October of 2014 while still finishing her teaching career. Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. She retired from teaching in 2015 after 29 years as a high school History teacher at Midway High School where she also served as Social Studies Department Head.
Melissa started H&A HOME Team in June 2015. She has hundreds of contacts from her years of teaching and community involvement and her team has the expertise to help their clients with all aspects of the residential real estate market. Melissa is the team leader and Listing Specialist on the H&A HOME Team. Melissa loves the relationship aspect of real estate and exceeding the expectations of her clients. Melissa serves on the Agent Leadership Council at her local Keller Williams Market Center and has her GRI and PSA Designations.
Melissa is a member of Renew Church Waco and is involved in the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce and Hewitt Chamber of Commerce and serves as a mentor in the LEAD Program. Melissa and her husband Brad have two grown children, Lindsey and Landon. Melissa loves getting to work alongside her husband in their real estate business. She celebrates all that Waco has to offer and shares her love of Waco with her clients. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling and photography. Melissa’s “Big Why” is to provide opportunities for her team members to achieve their dreams and leave a legacy for her family to enjoy.
Gary Bender is a Residential Buyer Specialist with the H&A Real Estate Team. He grew up in Baytown, Texas where he graduated high school, went to Sam Houston University and attained a degree in Education. After 39 years in public and private education as a teacher, coach and administrator, Gary decided to join the H& A HOME Team at Keller Williams Advantage in Waco, Texas. He has been with the H&A Real HOME Team since 2017. His can-do attitude and caring nature are ideal for identifying each client’s desires. Gary is persistent in finding the right place to meet their real estate goals.
Gary believes Waco is the best small town in Texas. He absolutely loves the location and the fact that it’s an event rich town in the Heart of Texas. He’s enjoyed Waco since moving here 22 years ago and thinks it’s a great place to live. Gary is married to his lovely wife, Leigh Ann, and they have two grown boys. Aaron lives and works in Waco, and Adam and his wife Rachael have three boys that keep everyone busy.
Gary is an active community member who enjoys volunteering with the Waco Retired Teacher’s Association, Mission Waco Breakfast, his Bible Study groups, KW community service and KW holiday gifting to Waco’s student groups. Executive Assistant and Transaction Coordinator
Brooke Borg is the Executive Assistant and Transaction Coordinator for the H&A Home Team. Her background includes Marketing, PR and Business Consulting. She has worked for the NFL, City of Jacksonville, FL, and multiple central Texas non-profits.
Brooke went to MSU and WVU for General Studies, Marketing, and Organizational Leadership.
Brooke and her three children moved to Waco in 2009 and enjoy calling Waco home.
Brooke is a member of Renew Church Waco and serves in the Women of Worth ministry program at Renew.
Brooke is creative and likes spending time outdoors with her kids and her fiancé. She is passionate about helping others and building a stronger community through service.
Felix Glass grew up outside of the Waco area on a ranch near Riesel, TX. Growing up in a small town, he participated in multiple sports, band, and fine arts. He married his wife Donna in 1998 and has three daughters- Mallory, Morgan, and McKenna. Felix was a public school educator for over 25 years.
In 2018, Felix pursued a transition to real estate in 2018.
He possesses an in-depth knowledge of not just the school districts in the Central Texas area, but the individual campuses that make up those districts. Felix welcomes the opportunity to serve you in finding your forever home.
ShaLynna Mosley moved to Waco to attend Baylor University in the Fall of 1986 where she graduated in May 1990 with a BBA in business management. Upon graduation, she obtained her real estate license and maintained rental property for her and her husband for more than 20 years. ShaLynna also has been a public school elementary teacher since 1993 obtaining her masters degree and mid management certification from Lamar University.
ShaLynna has been married to her husband Dean since 1990 and they have two girls, Brooke and Emily Kate. Brooke resides in Waco working in the marketing field and Emily Kate currently attends Baylor University.
ShaLynna and Dean are members of Renew church Waco and enjoy many hobbies. Most recently they have taken up bee keeping! They enjoy Waco because of its central location, friendly people, and the size of the community. It is the perfect city to raise a family and take advantage of many of the surrounding cities within reasonable distances for travel.
ShaLynna is very familiar with Waco and its surrounding area as well as being an active volunteer for many events throughout the year. She would love the opportunity to help you find your place in this wonderful city of Waco.
